Now run by Nick Shoesmith and Darren Murphy together Darren and Nick have 55 years’ experience working in the fire and security industry, having both trained as electricians as well as the industry specific training apprentices they served with ADT meaning they both have a wealth of knowledge that has continued to improve and grown the company into one of the leading providers of domestic and commercial fire and security systems company’s in the area. We help our clients to feel safe and secure in their homes and businesses and to stay on top of their legal obligation for life safety systems maintence required under the regulatory reform bill. During the last 6 years under new management Firstford have gained industry accreditations with BAFE SP203-1 for full design, installation, maintence and commissioning of fire alarm systems, BAFE SP101 for portable fire extinguisher service provider competence along with SSAIB accreditations for Intruder alarm, access control and CCTV design, installation, commissioning and maintence. We are fully audited meaning we can provide a quality consistent service to all customers by our qualified and experienced engineering team. Being an independent company we will offer free impartial advice and pride ourselves on the high levels of customer service we give to all regardless of size or complexity of works we undertake for you.
